I’m writing in recommendation of Deena Balogh & Associates, LLC certified care management services. I recently engaged their services on a very complicated and sensitive guardianship case in Pinellas County to assist in maximizing the quality and care for the remainder of my Ward’s life.
The services provided included arranging activities to reengage my Ward into the community by facilitating such things as lunches with old friends and shopping trips. They provided highly customized attention and were keenly aware and sensitive to her cultural and social interests. Additionally, they monitored visitors to the client’s room and facilitated communication with the home health agency, making recommendations for gentle quality of life such as ear cleanings and a denture fitting.
The team was also instrumental in planning my Ward’s 100th birthday party, which was complete with a catered lunch, her favorite flowers, entertainment, and elegant decor. “LIberace” along with his sidekick made an appearance to entertain the client and her fellow residents. They also helped to facilitate Skype video conferencing sessions with my Ward’s sister on the other side of the world, an important and timely accomplishment as she passed away only a few weeks short weeks after.
I highly recommend, without any reservation, Deena and her team as they consistently demonstrated professionalism and passion for helping my Ward in her last months of life. As a Professional Fiduciary, it is vital that I have the trust and confidence in the personal services being delivered to my clients.
Hello Deena!
Yes…we made it and Dad is settling in nicely. He remembers that this is the nursing home that his father was in. So it is a good memory.
Evaluations have started as well as PT.. He is very weak and tired but that could be from the trip. His pneumonia is almost gone and still has a great appetite. Made me buy him a coffee milkshake because you only have frappes in Florida.
Silver Wings services are no longer required.
Boy, that feels good to say…..but will miss our conversations. Feel like I am loosing a friend. We have been through a lot together.
I am so happy to have him back in Mass. At least I will be able to spend some time with him now.
Many, Many thanks.

Dear Deena, On behalf of my Aunt Mary, we would like to thank you and your staff for all your efforts you made for her welfare. You are truly an angel for taking her case. and going above and beyond to make sure she was placed in a safe environment. Without your expert assistance and efforts my aunt would have literally been homeless. Not only did you find n facility for her. but one that is absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for your hard work and guidance you gave us. There is no way we would have been able to accomplish what you did in just the few days that we had. Also. you went above and beyond to locate and collect a check as payment for the sale or my aunt ‘s car. I know you went to great efforts to accomplish that chore. Your knowledge and expertise saved my aunt from heartache and hardship. We had no knowledge of Medicaid rules and regulations necessary for placing someone in a healthcare facility who was penniless. We are extremely happy that you found a bed at Heather Hills. They are a great facility. The administrators and staff are wonderful and very helpful. The facility is immaculate. We all feel very good about our aunts’ placement there. We can sleep at night knowing that she is in good hands. Once again, a big thank you for all that you have done for my aunt and your assistance to us.
Deena, I wanted to say thank you for letting me help yesterday! I know this sounds so weird… But I have always wanted to know what happens “on the other side” of my desk. I am normally only able to help transition a patient once they are through my front door. I am more than willing to give emotional support and counseling to the families and residents that need it. However, I have never been able to physically help them with such a personal and emotional thing, such as the actual moving or sorting of a life long collection of memories, hopes and dreams.
Little things, such as a wedding photo, a birth announcement, or a high school diploma remind me that they are not patients, or residents, but rather grandparents, spouses, and loved ones.
It helps keep things in perspective.. And even though we are not “supposed” to become emotionally attached to these people that look to us for safety, compassion and respect… It’s certainly does help to remind me how urgently these people need our help… I am SO DELIGHTED that you will be a part of our community… And help rescue these people that would normally fall through the cracks!
Deena Dear, Once again because of your watchful eye and thoughtful heart a trip was successful! I so enjoyed meeting Dad, Mary Jane, Jess and observing Steve and Harold interacting. Harold looks so well! Thank you! Deena and Michael, may He always keep His loving hands on your projects, goals, you. Thanks for everything.
Deena: You have a big heart and all of us are better off for it!
Dear Deena, I wanted to thank you again for all of your assistance to my brother Jerry and to me, as well as to our father in his last years. I distilled the documents that you sent us down to a four-page synopsis and have shared this with Jerry and our sisters. All of us have found this journey into our father’s last years, while painful, very helpful in allowing us to achieve a sense of closure…Once again, on behalf of all my siblings and myself, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
(Translated from French) Dear Deena, Thank you so much for your help towards my sister and also I am grateful for your help in enabling me to inherit from my sister. I am delighted that I have received both cheques. I will always remember your kindness and that of Michael toward me.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for your dedication in serving our elderly population. Because their abilities to complete activities of daily living are often hindered by medical illness or the natural deterioration resulting from aging, their needs and undiscovered potentials, dreams and unfulfilled goals are often overlooked or ignored. Not only have you recognized this deficit in caring for the aging population, you have created a fantastic program allowing them to pursue opportunities that would for the most part have been unreachable and an impossibility. I have been so pleased to watch the development and success of your Silver Wings Special Needs Travel Program. The stories shared by our mutual patients of their journeys and to watch them blossom as they share these experiences has priceless. So often they present with a delightful childlike exuberance.
Your program offers meaning and self-worth to our elderly population and further diminishes their beliefs that they are “old dogs that can’t be taught new tricks.” Their will to live is also greatly strengthened. In addition I wish to acknowledge the obstacles placed before your team with regards to your client’s physical limitations, medical needs and overall special accommodations and how you go above and beyond to accommodate these needs. You have addressed the need of your client on an individualized basis and ‘think outside of the box’ with regards on how to meet these often difficult situations. Safety is never compromised and you and your team consistently go above and beyond the call of duty to assure that a quality trip is provided. This is your special niche and I applaud your efforts.
